RESULTS
ARE REPORTED BY TELEPHONE. Both
team managers must telephone the
Mitchell mini-soccer results line on 01904 642722 and leave a message by 6PM
ON THE DAY THE MATCH IS PLAYED.
The message must include the age group and the results of the A and B division
match. Do not forget to include the name of the club and the name of the
person reporting the result.
Disputed results
Where the reported results are different for the same game the Secretary will try to contact each team manager
before the results are published. If this is not possible he will
publish the result submitted by the home manager. The away
manager must then raise an objection within 5 days, failing which the
published result will stand.
TIP - Disputes are less likely if the opposing coach and/or the
referee is approached after the game and, whilst thanking him/her for
the game, confirming with them the result. It is surprisingly easy to
resolve disputes over the score at the time and surprisingly difficult
to do so after the results have been submitted. |
|
Where a result
is disputed the Secretary will instruct both team managers to submit a
written copy of the result (on the result card provided in your packs - copies can be
downloaded from this site) within 7 days of the date of the game having been
played. This is in accordance with the FA rules for
recording results. The written record MUST INCLUDE
THE NAME OF THE MATCH REFEREE.
Where the result is in dispute after the submission of written
records the referee named on the result card will be consulted. The
Secretary will then either confirm or change the
published result and notify each affected team manager of his decision,
which is final and not subject to any appeal.
